What is your job at the Park District?
General Manager of the Fitness Center at the Buffalo Grove Park District.

How long have you worked for the Park District?
Since February 2013.

What will you miss most about working at the Park District?
Working with the other employees.  They’re amazing people.

What is something interesting about you that most people do not know?
I come from a family of 14, and I grew up in a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom house.  

What about retirement are you most looking forward to?
Reintroducing all the hobbies I enjoy, like gardening and raising backyard chickens.  I’m also going to try some vegan cheese making.

What are some words of advice for the youngsters?
In this day and age of high stress jobs, learn meditation and self-care to assure yourself of a long career.
