Whether you are looking to lose weight, improve flexibility or just feel better again, a partnership with a personal trainer is an activity that gives you benefits for years to come. Our personal trainers are nationally certified professionals who are dedicated to guiding and educating others who wish to embark on a journey of optimal health and fitness.
Reducing body fat, managing your weight, toning and shaping your body are all achievable goals when you have the ongoing support of your personal trainer. Our trainers are dedicated to helping you each step of the way by setting realistic goals, instructing you on safe techniques and providing you with the motivation to succeed.
Our trainers customize a workout to improve your strength, flexibility, endurance, balance and cardiovascular health.
As a new member, you are offered an evaluation from one of our personal trainers. This evaluation is completed by using Polar's Body Age Assessment equipment. The evaluation includes:
- Sub-maximal cardiovscular testing
- Structural integrity screening
- Health risk appraisal
- Weight measurements
- Body composition measurement
- Resting blood pressure
- Flexibility testing
An equipment orientation is also provided. During this orientation a personal trainer will review the different pieces of recommended equipment based on your evaluation.
It is recommended that a follow-up evaluation be conducted after the first 6 months of membership and then again at 1 year.
Additional assessments can be done upon request.
