Debra pursued a career in personal training because she wanted to combine her love for helping others with her passion for health and fitness.  When she personally began on a path of fitness, Debra focused on all that she would gain from making fit choices such as stress reduction, confidence, strength, good health and a positive mindset. Your thoughts create your reality, so it’s critical to maintain an optimistic and empowered mindset. Debra looks forward to helping clients begin or continue on their fitness path and help coach them to having the right mindset.

Along with being the Fitness Manager of Personal Training, Debra also teaches group exercise classes on our schedule.

Sheila Hamilton
ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor

Sheila has been in the fitness industry for 25 years. She began as an instructor then followed her passion to work with clients individually as a personal trainer. Sheila is passionate about challenging oneself to achieve new levels of fitness that may not have seemed possible. Improving one’s health and fitness is about stepping out of one’s comfort zone. Sheila gets great satisfaction from helping people of all different abilities achieve their fitness goals.

In her personal experience, Sheila had always enjoyed running and questioned her ability to compete in the sport of triathlon. She achieved that goal and is always looking for new ways to challenge her own fitness level. Sheila believes if you never doubt your capabilities, anything is attainable.

Debbie Wunderle
NCSF Personal Trainer, Medical Exercise Specialist, ACE and AFAA Group Exercise Instructor

Debbie has been a personal trainer for over 10 years with a medical specialty certification. Fitness has always been a part of Debbie’s life and she hopes to encourage others to do the same. Her philosophy on personal training is to enhance client’s physical conditions based on their goals, abilities and desires. Debbie’s diverse background in all aspects of physical fitness provides her the ability to customize and modify programs to maximize one’s capabilities. Her motto is to never give up.

Wendy Malin
AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Certified Group Exercise and AEA Aquatic Fitness Professional

Wendy’s passion for health and fitness started in college, but did not evolve into a fully dedicated lifestyle until after her first child. Her goal is to support, motivate, and empower her clients and students to become the healthiest version of themselves. Wendy’s strengths include the ability to connect with people wanting to embark on a fitness journey, help change unhealthy habits, cope with an injury, and maintain a relationship with people wanting to build on their foundation of functional fitness.

In addition to over 25 years experience in fitness, and despite her own back issues, including a partial fusion, she competed in triathlons for 9 years. Wendy tries to create a fun yet professional environment where people are safely challenged, and feel accomplished after every workout. She believes it is never too late to improve one’s health.

Christy Crnkovic
ACE Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Certified Group Exercise

Christy has been a personal trainer for 15 years. She enjoys training people of all ages and levels. Form is very important to her and she tries to educate her clients how form can change an exercise. As her clients gain strength, she challenges them in new ways so they progress in their strength. Christy finds that helping her clients meet and maintain their fitness goals is very important and gratifying.

Christy also teaches group exercises classes on our schedule. Her formats are cycle, strength, intervals, TRX suspension training, Heart Strong and youth programs.

Mario Gomez
NASM Certified Personal Trainer, MMA Amateur Fighter

Mario is an undefeated MMA fighter and certified personal trainer. After discovering his passion for helping teammates and professional athletes develop their skills and achieve their goals, Mario became a NASM CPT and immediately started training people of all ages and backgrounds. With his knowledge, experience, and unique approach, Mario developed a ”training” style focused on functional body movements that promote strength, flexibility, endurance, and weight loss.

Bernie Isacovici
AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, 200 hr. RYT-Yoga Instructor

Bernie began his fitness journey ten years ago when he lost 75 pounds through fitness and running. Bernie has since completed 14 marathons and over 20 half marathons since 2010. As a personal trainer, Bernie loves to share his passion for fitness and health to those who need it most.

Kirk Herrig

Certified American Bu Kyoku Ryu, Black Sash Shaolin Kung Fu, Krav Maga and Kick Boxing Instructor

Kirk has dedicated his life to the Martial Arts and the fighting system for over 45 years, with 40 years of teaching experience. As a trainer, Kirk will offer a disciplined group of exercises focusing on strength, cardio, function and technique. As a client you are sure to gain focus, strength, posture, confidence and speed while burning calories. Kirk has trained the average person to become lean and strong.

Kirk has also created a self-defense program. He combined a large number of distinct styles and schools of martial arts to develop a no-nonsense, practical streetwise self-protection system that can be easily adapted by anyone regardless of age, size or ability.

Kirk also teaches specialty programs and group exercise classes on our schedule.

Brian Lee
NCSF Certified Personal Trainer

Brian is a trainer that loves to help people simply not to achieve their fitness goals, but help individuals to achieve a way of life that leads them to have optimal health and happiness. Brian is very involved in outside volunteer work and believes his motivation comes from his commitment to service.

Brian also teaches group exercises classes on our schedule. His formats are Tabata and Strength.

Felix enjoys being fit and staying healthy. Strength and muscle building are his specialty. Felix loves helping his clients reach their goals and to help them understand the fitness world. Some of his favorite activities are GoRuck challenges and how many tacos he can eat.

Joshua has been involved in fitness starting from a young age and his passion in exercise has grown exponentially since high school, participating in both Fall and Spring sports throughout his high school years. He is a strong believer in a hard-work ethic and loves to push himself and others to do their very best. He is devoted to the success of each and every client and dedicated to practicing safe and correct methods. Joshua’s personal goal is to spread his love of fitness and help improve the overall health of all those around him.

Gilda is a certified personal trainer with AFAA, with a M.S. in Sports Management. Gilda is happy to work with anyone looking to commit to change. She believes by combining her coaching skills with a creative and effective workout routine, anyone with different fitness level can achieve their goals.

Gilda works with clients to customize a training plan that focuses on reaching specific goals using proper technique and form. She will help develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. Gilda’s goal is to create variety in workouts and to leave her client feeling energized with a sense of accomplishment after each workout.

Gilda also teaches group exercise classes.

Bryan’s goal is to listen to our member’s needs and identify opportunities for progress as well as challenge and develop our member’s levels of stability, mobility and strength. Eighteen years of personal training experience with a vast range of clientele leads Bryan to believe perseverance produces positive outcomes.

Mario Zwingman
NCSA Certified Personal Trainer

Mario is a professional athlete in natural bodybuilding since 2016. Besides bodybuilding, he also has a sports background in track and field, martial arts, powerlifting and recently, bodybuilding. With all of his personal experience, he has learned that each person’s body reacts differently to exercise and diet.

Combining many years of training with the rapidly developing science in weight loss and muscle building, Mario integrates new training routines to help his clients develop a better physique, strength and health. His clients can expect a personalized training plan based on their body science and individual goals. Clients can also follow their customized programs and track individual progress via his personal mobile app.

Mario specializes in weight loss, toning and muscle building (body composition) without cardio, performance and strength coaching and prep-coaching (natural bodybuilding).

Balanced Body Pilates Reformer Equipment Certified, 200 hr. E-RYT Yoga

Jenay has over 20 years teaching experience in multiple environments. Her education and passions stem from the arts. When Jenay first stepped on a yoga mat she knew this was her true creative calling. Since receiving her 200 Hour-E-RYT Yoga training, she has never stopped pushing herself to learn and grow in the fitness industry. With an immense respect to each format, she is able to produce innovative classes and training to her clients. Jenay believes both yoga and Pilates are the foundations to alignment, safety, strength and breath. She uses this not only as a teacher, but in every day life.

Along with being the Fitness Manager - Group Exercise for the Fitness Center, Jenay also teaches group exercise classes on our schedule.

 

Nicole Boehm
Pilates Reformer STOTT Certified Trainer

Nicole enjoys an active lifestyle and is an avid hiker, cyclist and swimmer. She fell in love with Pilates immediately, as it provided excellent cross-training for her other physical activities. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Portland State University, and became a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor in 2011. She is now a Merrithew™ Instructor Trainer specializing in STOTT PILATES and CORE™. Nicole is continually upgrading her training and knowledge. She is an ACE certified personal trainer, an AFAA group fitness instructor, and has trained in the MELT method and TRX Suspension Training. She has also taken part in the Pink Ribbon program for breast cancer. Her passion for teaching is apparent in her outgoing and caring demeanor. She always puts clients first, and provides them with an enjoyable and productive workout.

Adi Peleg
Pilates Reformer Instructor Reut Studio TLV, AFFA Group Exercise Instructor

Adi has been a dance teacher since 2003. She specializes in choreography, contemporary dance and anatomy. She discovered the benefits of Pilates and began teaching this format 2010. Adi believes the body is a fascinating system. On the reformer she will take you on a challenging, but appropriate journey of exploring one’s own body, understanding your abilities by characterizing each movement and finding the right path for overall strength and alignment.
